I was 15 when I took the first photo that made me think, “Wow… I can do this.”  It was my brother’s fourth birthday, and I caught the moment just as he was blowing out the candles on his birthday cake.  The picture, taken with a cheap 110 camera, really told the story, and I was so proud when my dad had it printed in a larger-than-snapshot format and framed.  My parents still have that photo on display in their house.
